ShyAktive sports bras and accessories are constructed from TENCEL ™ Modal and TENCEL ™ Lyocell fibres. These regenerated cellulosic fibres are derived from the natural raw material wood (beech and eucalyptus trees) and form a soft, lustrous and versatile fabric. While the production processes of both these fibres are highly resource efficient, TENCEL ™ Lyocell boasts an innovative closed loop production process that uses no harmful chemicals and close-to-zero wastage.

TENCEL ™ Modal and Lyocell are known for their soft feel, gentle texture, flexibility, strength and breathability – features well suited to activewear. They also boast excellent colour retention ensuring long-lasting colour vibrancy. The ability of Tencel fabrics to regulate body temperature and wick moisture from the skin helps prevent the growth of bacteria which keeps clothes fresher for longer. This limits the number of times an item needs to be washed, which enhances its sustainability.
