Our tips to care for your ShyAktive sports bras and accessories.

Washing

Cold hand wash or cold delicate cycle with gentle detergent.

Wash separately for the first wash then wash with similar colours.

Always air dry (avoid tumble dry) and lay flat to dry in shade. Drying in sunlight may damage the natural dye colour.

Do not bleach, iron or dry clean your garment. For stains, dab with cold water and wash as per instructions above.

Use + Wear

For our first collection, we have used the semi-natural and sustainable fibre Tencel, that is breathable, soft on the skin and kinder to the planet.

The way you care for your sports bra is important. Unlike other items of clothing, sports bras are a hard-working piece in the female wardrobe that must withstand movement, activity and perspiration.

For longevity, we recommend rotating your ShyAktive bra with another every few days. The Tencel fibre after washing and drying will return to it’s original size even if it feels stretched after wear and rigorous exercise.

Bear in mind that over time natural fibres do stretch, a compromise for wearing a healthy and eco-friendly fabric.
